VERY REVEREND FATHER STEPANOS PASHAYAN
Parish Priest of St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church (2014-2016)
Kevork Pashayan was born in 1981 in Burj Hammoud Lebanon. He received his primary education at Nor Sis Elementary and Aksor Kasarjian Secondary School. He was accepted into the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia in 1993. In 1998, he was ordained a subdeacon. In 2002, he was ordained a Deacon by His Eminence Archbishop Zareh Aznavourian. Following his graduation from the Seminary, he was appointed as Assistant Dean by His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia.
On June 6th, 2004, Kevork Pashayan was ordained and consecrated as a celibate priest by His Eminence Archbishop Sebouh Sarkissian. He was assigned to serve within the Prelacy of Azerbajian. In 2009, he received the rank of Doctor by His Eminence Archbishop Sebouh Sarkissian. During is tenure in the Monastery, he has served has a Assistant in the Seminary, Assistant Sacristan, Dean of the Cilicia Museum and many more.
In 2011, he received the right to wear a pectoral cross by His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia. In 2013 he was assigned to serve within the Prelacy of Greece, serving has Parish Priest for the Thessaloniki Community.
In 2014, he was reassigned to serve as Parish Priest in Toronto.
In 2016, he was appointed Dean of Venezuelan Armenian Community where he currently continues to serve the Armenian-Venezuelan People.
